FIFTH ANNUAL WESTSIDE SHOPPING EXTRAVAGANZA SET IN WEST BATON ROUGE

ADDIS, LA 一 On a mission to support small businesses, this one-day event promotes community over competition, the Westside Shopping Extravaganza

WHAT: The West Baton Rouge Small Business Council is hosting its fifth annual Westside Shopping Extravaganza – a day of shopping, food, and fun that will feature more than 35 local shops, boutiques and artists promoting community over competition.

Sunday, August 18, 2024
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: VIP Shopping 1– 4 p.m. General Admission

• From 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. there will be live music by Chris Ocmand

• At 1 p.m. scholarship recipients will be presented to Aaryona Kinchen from

  Brusly High School and Kennedy Gibson from Port Allen High School

• From 1:15-1:45 p.m., there will be live music by Annie Claire Bass

• Throughout the day there will be performances by Alyssa's School of Performing

  Arts, Brittany's School of Dance, Port Allen High School color guard, dance team and cheer team, and Machita Dance Company.

WHERE: Addis Community Center, 7520 LA-1, Addis, LA

WHY: The Westside Shopping Extravaganza started in 2019 by a group of West Baton Rouge small business owners who came together in an effort to encourage and educate community members about the power of shopping small. This one-day event is a way for small businesses to showcase their offerings all under one roof – all while having fun, networking with other business owners, and boosting their sales.

The Westside Shopping Extravaganza is hosted by the West Baton Rouge Small Business Council.
